...my journey and how it has begun:
My owner once watched the 'The Fabulous Destiny Of Amelie Poulain' and was fascinated by the idea of sending the dwarf around the world. So she decided to do the same with me. Sure, it is a bit different, because she doesn't have a friend who's a stewardess. So she thought about how she could manage my journey.
She wrote this text on a paper which she linked around my neck:
Hi there!
I am Emily the Duck. Please take me with you on your journey, take a picture of me together with a sight and send this picture, along with place and date, to my mailadress (it's mentioned there). It is going to be published on Emily-The-Duck.blogspot.com. Afterwards, I would like you to give me to another traveller or just to place me at an airport, a station or another public place.
It is my intention to travel as far around the world as possible. I was sent by a person who would be delighted if you, too, could get the ability to be happy about the little pleasures in life.
